MARILYN'S BIRTHDAY BASH
We had a great time at Marilyn's Birthday Bash on
Saturday 17 May 2008
Held in Oxfordshire at a very nice hotel, we all met at 7 pm for dinner
followed by a Disco Decades, playing into the small hours !
The tables were decorated with confetti, streamers, party poppers,
roses and a Happy Birthday helium balloon.
Having arrived for pre-dinner drinks, we then enjoyed a lovely three
course meal ending with coffee and mints. The evening began wih a
Cliff song especially for Marilyn, and the disco then commenced with Rod, our DJ, taking requests throughout the evening. We were soon all
up on the dance floor, dancing the night away into the early hours.
A great time was had by all. Many thanks for all the cards and presents, for the surprises (!!) and most of all for sharing a great night !
Also a HUGE thank you to those (they know who they are !) who sent
beautiful flowers and for the song written especially for me.
