'SOUL' WEEKEND

  We had a great weekend in Bournemouth with

  'Soul Revival'

   4-6 April 

We arrived on Friday and caught up on all the news - great to see everyone again ! After dinner, we danced the night away to a duo who delighted us with a great variety of music all evening and we all took the floor.

Saturday was spent at leisure and after an early dinner, the Soul quiz was won by Tony. The hotel quiz followed, won by Marilyn's team (champagne prize !) Then a variety of dancing including some great line dancing. We then settled down ready for the star cabaret act - 'Soul Revival'

They brought back some super memories of Tamla Motown and soul favourites, ending with slow dances to 'My Girl' which Marilyn requested.

Everyone was up dancing and singing along to the songs. Afterwards 'Soul Revival' posed for photographs with some guests. A great weekend was had by all. Very many thanks to those who shared the weekend with us. Preliminary plans are already in mind for our next great musical 'Spring Getaway'.
